Class 1 Professional Driver Instructor (Full-time)
Bracor Environmental has been leader in road safety for years, with our Beet 55 liquid organic anti-icing product that protects the environment while creating safer roads. We have now taken the next step in road safety by starting a Class 1 Professional Driving School. Safe roads start with safe drivers, so we train new drivers the Manitoba Public Insurance MELT program, as well as more experienced drivers on super-B’s, flat decks, and converters.
Bracor Environmental is looking for an experienced Class 1 Driver Trainer who enjoys flexibility in their work. Bracor Environmental is committed to safety and are certified by SafeWork Manitoba. We have an enjoyable work culture, with growth opportunities.
We are looking for:
- 1 year of experience Class 1 driver training
- Current Class 1 (MELT) Instructor certification
- Valid Class 1 Professional drivers license
- Clean driving abstract
- Clean criminal record
- Double vaccinated for COVID-19
- Fluent in English
- Strong communication skills
- Efficient with Microsoft Office and administrative forms
Your Responsibilities:
- Teaching new drivers the Manitoba Public Insurance MELT program and continuous improvement on course curriculum. This includes classroom, in-yard and on-road training, as well as completing student evaluations.
- One-on-one professional driver training for new Class 1 drivers.
- Developing training curriculum for future course offerings.
- Day-trip freight deliveries.
